On day 2 at Cardigan, I was the first person up in my bunk-room. At about 6:45, after everyone was awake, we went downstairs and brushed our teeth and got dressed. Then we waited until we were allowed downstairs where all hung out in the living room. After that we at breakfast which was eggs and sausage. Then we all went upstairs to get ready to hike up Cardigan mountain. Before we left on the hike we all meat with our gear in the living room where our group's leaders talked to us about the hike. Then we left and it took us a long time to get to the top. We almost didn't make it to the top because our leaders didn't thing that our group was up for it because most people were tired. But after we met with Shawn's group we realised we were that far from the summit. Our group leaders, Hidi and Erin, talked and decided that we could make it to the summit. We stayed at the summit for a bit. We did a lot of sketching. Then we started on our way down as the last group to leave the summit. When we got home we were all super tired but they made us go on one more short hike before free time. During free time I did pretty much the same thing as the first day and watched my friends play Spikeball. But this time I was Beckett's "coach". Then I took a shower. (I figured out how to make the water warm.) After free time we ate dinner which was burgers. Then we went outside and made skits and looked at stars. After that Mr. Woolner had some stories to tell us before bed. One of them was about a pirate named Black Beard. Before we all fell asleep Mr. Woolner came into our room and gave us a choice of normal chocolate or Swedish Fish. I chose Swedish Fish.

Place is a really, really, really good description of something. When we were on top of Cardigan mountain we drew a lot of sketches and described what we saw on top of the mountain. An example of place is in a book the author will often describe what is around the character and where the character is very well.
